Avana

Avana (ɑ:vɒ.nɑ:) is the Goddess of Nobility and Beauty in the Forsaken Land. She is the daughter of Craeseth and Harsitiel, the Demon Lord of Superbia. She is prayed to for favors in social advancement (often through marriage) and blessings of beauty.

Avana is one of the five newer dark gods born between Craeseth, Sai'ras and the Demon Lords. In the aftermath of the War of the Gods, Ispa was forbidden to bear more children. Craeseth continued her endeavor to both expand their pantheon and bind the rest of the demon clans to their family by fathering two children with the two female Demon Lords.

Appearance

She is a tall, lithe goddess of incredible beauty, with an aquiline profile. The appearance presented of her varies between human and Danaij sources, with Danaij often portraying her as the epitome of Danaij beauty with blue-black skin and white hair. Humans present her has having lustrous black hair and fair skin. Her eyes are red in both portrayals and she has tapered ears. She has two black-plumed wings. Portrayals of Avana present her in highly elaborate and elegant gowns, dripping with jewels, and often with a mantle of feathers.
