Erada

Erada (ɪrɑ:dɑ:) is the Goddess of Love and daughter of Alaezo and Entra. Alaezo has only ever fathered two children—Craeseth through Ispa’s trickery, and Erada out of love. After what Ispa did to him, Alaezo was disenchanted with the concept of bringing children into the world for a purpose. However, Entra went to him to provide him comfort, leading to a romance that resulted in Erada’s birth. Ironically, she would become best suited to be the Goddess of Love to oppose Suldra, the Goddess of Lust.

Erada's teachings embrace love in any form, though many cultures have their own interpretation of her teachings. Priestesses of Erada often officiate weddings and provide match-making services at the Temple of Love. The Temple of Love also provides sanctuary for women and children in crisis.

Appearance

Erada is an incredibly beautiful goddess with a lean and shapely figure. She has luxurious golden blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Her ears are of a medium length. On her back are a pair of white wings. Depictions of her dress her in white silken robes, with a touch of modesty.

Children

Erada has two children; Casril, the God of Luck, who was conceived from a brief romance with a mortal Ochae’nafod of the Vulpes tribe named Chepol; and Reina, the Muse of Song, with Essan.
