Malva (mɑ:l.vɑ:) is the Goddess of Nightmares and a counterpart to Luma. She is the daughter of Sai'ras and Sabatiel, the Demon Lord of Acedia. Malva is typically invoked to curse an enemy with terrible visions.

Malva is one of the five newer dark gods born between Craeseth, Sai'ras and the Demon Lords. In the aftermath of the War of the Gods, Ispa was forbidden to bear more children. Sai'ras continued her mother's endeavor to both expand their pantheon and bind the rest of the demon clans to their family by bearing three children to the remaining three male demon lords.

Appearance

Malva is a handsome woman with a feline sort of look to her. She is presented as having long, thick black hair, fair skin, and gold eyes. Her ears are long and tapered. Bat-like wings grace her back and she has shorter versions of her father's upright, twisted horns growing from her brow. Representations of Malva dress her in draping silks similar to the other dark goddesses, and a shawl of black and shimmering gems or sequins that resemble a moonless night sky.
