Rabbits are a common mammal throughout Thiskel and Kalesten, inhabiting a variety of environments. Most are rather small, though the wild rabbits of eastern North Thiskel are large enough to be a bonded species for the Ochae'nafod of the Orycto tribe.
Rabbits have been domesticated in some cultures to provide meat and fur, but also kept as pets. The Idayn keep rabbits as pets, a practice which brought domestic Thiskelian rabbits to Kalesten where the Fayl'Idayn now breed a long-haired variety for wool.
