Lepus
Lepus is the name of the tribes of Ochae'nafod bonded to species of hare and jackrabbit. There are clans bonded to specific local species in their regions but their Nafod features are often similar.

Appearance
Lepus tribespeople are among the smallest Ochae'nafod, with females standing around 4' (122) and males at 4'5" (135cm) on average. They tend to be slender with long legs. Women are typically small breasted with a pear shaped or narrow frame. Males tend to be over all slender and lean Their facial structure is reminiscent of hares with narrow faces that make their tapered ears look larger than normal, and large, alert eyes.
Their coloration takes after both the local human population and their bonded animal. Those in North Thiskel tend towards fair to tanned skin while in South Thiskel they are often brown-skinned. Kalesten Lepus have tanned to light brown skin. Their hair color corresponds to the dominant coat color of their hare form, often shades of brown to sandy blonde. Eye color is commonly light brown or reddish brown.
Culture
In general, the Lepus tribespeople are energetic and quick-witted, tending to be wary, but not especially antisocial towards other races. Their communities are highly mobile, often constructed in thickets or wooded areas, but they rarely stay in the same area for more than a few years.
As they are bonded to a vegetarian species, their diet is vegetarian as well. They usually rely on foraging to acquire food.
Their relationships with each other tend to be short-term romances that last for maybe a decade or so before they lose interest in each other. Along with their clan as a whole rarely staying in one place, it isn't uncommon for Lepus to roam from group to group when seeking a new partner.
