Nirya

Nirya (ni:r.jɑ:) is the primary satelite of Aserra. This large moon has no atmosphere and is pockmarked with craters. It appears white much like Earth's moon, as its surface brightly reflects the sun's light.

Nirya has an orbit of 28 days around Aserra and is close in size to Earth's moon as well, at 1,963 miles (3,159km) in diameter. The pull of this moon influences the tides of Aserra's oceans.

The name "Nirya" is a name for the moon from an ancient Thiskelian culture that fell into common usage when the peoples of the continent were united during the War of the Gods.
