Appearance

The Lynx tribe is one of the smaller Ochae'nafod, with some variation between the different subspecies bonded. The larger North Thiskelian tribes are the tallest, with males standing up to 5'3" and females at 4'10" while the South Thiskelian tribes and Kalesten tribes vary slightly around 5' for males and 4'8" for females. They tend to be slim and lithe with taut, lean musculature.

The Lynx tribe facial structure has a feline suggestion to it and most individuals tend to have a heart shaped face with a narrow, small chin. The most unique trait is that their tapered ears display a tuft of black hair at the end, like their cat form. Their skin color and facial structure also tend to resemble the human population around them, but their hair color is often tawny, resembling the primary color of their coat in cat form. Despite this, their eyebrow and eyelash color is black (as well as ear-tufts), mimicking the natural "eyeliner" markings most cats have. Their eye color is often shades of gold or hazel and their pupils are distinctly feline.

Culture

The Lynx tribe tends to be wary but also curious of humans. If threatened, the make fierce opponents despite their size. Lynxes tend to be solitary, but the tribe itself live in small clans. Their relationships are typically short lived flings with members of other clans, and any resulting children are typically raised in their mother's clan.

Like other tribes bonded to solitary species, they like having a little personal space and their settlements consist of small individual homes surrounding a central shared living space. They often make their homes out of locally available building materials and concealed in thickets or deep in forests.
