Lynx species
Lynx are medium-sized cats noted for their short tails, tufted ears, and especially large paws on the northern varieties. The largest species is the North Thiskelian variety that is found in the higher latitudes and northern mountain ranges. A smaller species is found on the plains and woodlands of Espera and Ismaila. In Kalesten, a cold climate species stalks the Lands of Kaius and Gayntos Mountains while its temperate-preferring cousin can be found throughout the southern half of the upper continent.
The Lynx tribe of Ochae'nafod are bonded to these four species on both continents.
