Sæmdheim
Sæmdheim was a region of north Ageond inhabited primarily by a hearty and adventurous human culture of primarily fair-haired and fair-skinned people. They were a sea-faring people that were known both as traders and raiders at varying times in pre-Cataclysm history. Eventually, Sæmdheimdan explorers would sail west to land in North Kalesten where they established colonies that would later become the Kaian people.
Near the end of Aserra's Golden Era, as the Danaij sought to conquer and convert Ageond to the Dark Gods, Sæmdheimdans were one of the last peoples to fall. They absorbed refugees from other nations, including the Kiar, and many escaped to the Kalesten colonies before the Danaij absorbed the remainder. Ancient Sæmdheim was destroyed when Brecha sank Ageond.
